cardigan river & food festival 2012 - 11 & 12 aug
Festivals Events Cardigan Bay (FECB for short) are the organisers of the Cardigan River & Food Festival. Newly formed as a social enterprise (a not-for-profit business) in April 2011 FECB has taken over the running of the festival from Menter Aberteifi, whose staff, trustees and volunteer helpers set up and ran the event from 1999 to 2010.
FECB are Lisa and Roger – based in the Guildhall in Cardigan – who are supported by numerous volunteers and enthusiastic individuals who are the heartbeat of the festival and who get paid nothing for their unstinting efforts, year on year. Although the organisers may have changed the people haven't!
