An enormous thank you to everyone who participated in this year's

Cardigan River and Food Festival!

We are delighted to say that it was our biggest and best yet, with over 81 organisations exhibiting, including 52 Welsh food and drink producers and a crowd of community organisations and local craftspeople. We had 5 kitchen demonstrations with brilliant local chefs, 1 discussion panel and 7 practical food workshops...
and huge thanks to Dafydd of Dewi James butchers for stepping in last minute and arranging the 'Make Your Own Burgers' workshops for us. Diolch yn fawr!

Daf Wyn Rees was a brilliant host and gave us sunshine throughout the day, even when it rained down for a couple of hours in the middle there! Extinction Rebellion Cardigan did a formidable job monitoring our waste points, and as a result we had 80% food waste / recyclables vs 20% general waste. Thank you to all XR volunteers!

Local artist Hannah Rounding created a beautiful sea-themed entrance installation with a group of volunteers at Kinora. Thank you to Nathan at the Welsh Wildlife Centre for lending us a coracle and many other items for the entrance, and for transporting them. Special thanks, as always, to Ron & Jeanette for making the Park & Ride possible, and to Richard Oernant for lending us his capri marquee and helping us put it up.

Finally, thank you to Cardigan Castle for hosting our first-ever family area! Parti 'da Barti had a brilliant atmosphere all day and your involvement made this year's festival a true community event.

SEE YOU ALL  NEXT YEAR!

(Leanne, you will be pleased that your face is no longer on our home page)
